Noah is an adorable 1 year old diagnosed with Venolymphatic Malformation. At 3 weeks old, during a CT scan, to try to see why he was bleeding from his mouth, Doctors saw a large malformation taking up his entire chest. Noah Receives monthly IV infusions and has numerous doctors’ appointments, and check-ups, to ensure his health and development are top priority. His mom states that, “by the grace of God, he is a normally developing 1 year old and has defined all odds. He is shocking his doctors daily with the fact he’s extremely immunocompromised, yet seems to hardly get sick.”
Noah’s Family met REVIV in the middle of a 5-week hospital stay from a referral from CCHMC. Reviv assisted with helping clean their house so that mom could focus on other immediate needs and didn’t have to worry about her home at the time. The older girls of the family were able to make Sidekicks. Once Noah was out of the hospital, Reviv sent Jenna, their Family Support Volunteer, to hang out with the older girls and do crafts/ play games. This allows mom much needed time to take care of some housework and have time with the younger ones.
